Your High School Story:

Was ahead of my time since I seemed to be friends with more Juniors and Seniors in my Sophmore year. Remember some great teachers like Mr. Cummins and then some of the forgettable ones that I can't even remember their names. Remember being in the lunchroom that infamous day and also had some very fond memories of building floats, football games and going out with the football captain in my sophmore year. Wasn't really part of any group. It depended on how I felt in the morning whether I was a greaser, dooper, nerd or just me.....It was a blast.

Who was your favorite teacher/s and why?

Mrs. Okner, the Art teacher. She saw a talent in me that I didn't think I had. Too bad I didn't realize it until much later in life.

What teacher/s did you dislike and why?

There was a History teacher that looked like he stepped out of a different century. Always wore a three piece grey suit, had a pocket watch with chain draped across his vest and had waves done in his hair that looked like he had a roaring twenties hairstylist. His classes were boring, he spoke in a monotone voice that could put anyone to sleep. Didn't learn a darn thing in that class which is a shame since I love history!

My 16th Birthday Party, Homecoming Game against Taft, football games at Hansen Park and Lane Stadium and who can forget the Green Grille!
