Pat nothing but sweetness, never saw her without a smile. She was authentic and grounded. I know her loved ones were blessed to have her in their lives. My prayers for her and her family.
Dude, your brother in law sends you love!
Toni, Ron Burns here, Key class Jan 64. We were the mighty 12. I saw your update status and said "I remember Toni" from key. I think Ms. Stump had it in for me. However just wanted to how happy I was to see what a great life you have carved out for yourself. Best for the future,

Sid (you will always be that to me) Hope all is good with you and the family. Like you I just got around to catching up with messages (my fault). All I can say we were a great 12 at Key. I hope Lyle Clark married a movie star and taught Elon Musk everything he knows. By the way I really liked your brother Phil. I remember sitting in his bedroom and fawning over his record collection. I liked your parents because they were kind and friendly to me. Take care Ron.
I relocated to Memphis in 1966, but up until two days before his passing we talked via "messages". From 1960 Roy and the rest of our gang went thru it all. I am lucky to have known him and he provided the example of what a real friend is. A sharp wit and a solid grounding were the things I appreciated the most. My best to Linda and his family. His friends loved him.
Doesn't life boil down to an Italian "Beefie" and a cup of "Nector From The Gods"? You can come back Jimmy Dean.

Dude you OK? I hope so, I keep up with you and the guys via Wally. Take care of yourself and I wish you the best.
Hey back at you Gary. Sorry I have not checked the site in a while. But I hope this finds you well and happy. You got heart Gary and you help keep those great memories of AHS alive.
Gary it's Ron Burns! Just wanted to thank the best cheerleader for AHS alumni. I commend you on your tireless efforts on the 50 year reunion. The photo was taken by me over twenty years ago on a visit back to the old neighborhood. It was sad to see the condition it was in, but I could almost hear the the voices from the hallway inside and smell the smoke from the Green Room across the street. Take care Dude!

10/07/2017. As I read the comments that are posted on the "In Memory" section of the website I am reminded of the great individuals I was fortunate to know during my Austin years. At 70 the phrase "it's the journey, not the destination" rings true. To all of my friends I say be assured that someone, somewhere is wearing a smile because you just popped into his or her memory. I think we will always be "Forever Young" to one another. To my Austin, my friends... thank you.
Hello "Herman The Hermit", do BDays even count after you have reached driver's,drinking and draft age? We are all 18 and holding in our heads. Enjoy your present (today). "Stay young with your rock and rollin" and leave the "Glory Days" behind.
So sad to hear about Roger. Growing up Roger was a close buddy from our days are F.S. Key elementary as Kyle D. mentioned all the way thru Austin. He made a great trip to visit the University Of Memphis in 66 with me and we had a great time. He was a part of our "guy's" outside of class along with Jay Lyden and like him I have some great memories of those days with Rog. We lost touch after I moved to Memphis but I never forgot him and the laughs we had together.
To his family I offer my sympathy and best wishes. You father was a good man, loyal and loved by his friends.
