Who was your favorite teacher/s and why?

My homeroom teacher was Ms. Rose Budzinski. She had a lab/garden that she let me help her water and weed. I believe my love for gardening began because of her.

What teacher/s did you dislike and why?

I had a geometry teacher that was cruel because of her hatred towards another Bender student that I was unrelated to. She seated me at a desk with Bender carved in it. She made me stand during her class. I have no idea why I didn't get changed out of her class. I didn't learn anything.

I enjoyed cheerleader practice, although I did not stick it out. Loved highschool at Austin. I commuted by bus my senior year.

I have traveled the globe, it is the best way to learn geography.
Kept moving West and living by the bay is where I'm happiest.
Hubby taught high school chemistry and was also a master Gardener. Our gardens are quite nice as everything grows here pretty much year round.

In 1974 I was on the Phil Donahue show, in the audience that is.

I'm sorry to hear about Jim's passing. We lived nearby during our school days at Spencer grade school and Austin HS. He attended a couple of group diñners when I visited the Chicago area. He was a friend.

We graduated in different years but we share the same birthday. We also both live in Washington. My husband and I moved to Port Townsend in 2014 and love it here.

I've thought of her over the years. She was a good influence on me to be athletic. She wasn't much older than us when we were 14 she was 21.

Happy Holidays and a "Very Happy Upcoming Birthday". It's been a while since I got together with anyone and remember the few times you organized a dinner when you were in town.
