Robert surprised me with many memories of my father. Dad was very involved in Scouting and the American Legion. After dad passed Robert blessed me with stories of Dad I would not have had but for Roberts willingness to share them with me, It was a beautiful gift and I will always be grateful. In your sorrow may you be comforted with the knowledge of how my life was touched and enriched ny this good man and his memories
So very sorry to hear of your loss. He was a really great guy. That did a lot for Austin and all the friends he had, he will be greatly missed. Just know that a lot of thoughts and prayers are coming your way!
I was sorry to hear about Bob's death. We sat next to each each other in division for 4 years .Our last semester, we served as lab assistants for the new chemistry teacher. Our work consisted of making sure the students didn't blow up the lab and grading papers.
Robert and I both went to May Grammer School together as well as Austin High. I didn't see much of him in High School; but he always sent me a Happy Birthday on the Austin Website. I will miss getting that this year.
