I knew Ed since 3rd grade at May School. We were friends throughout our time together in: 1) grade school, 2) Austin High, 3) Univ. of Illinois-Chicago and even 4) grad school at DePaul University. We also remained friends our entire adult lives.

Ed was a fun-loving and caring guy. We shared many meaningful, and sometimes crazy, experiences together from grade school to adulthood. He loved reliving all those experiences, but he especially loved talking about the fun times he had at Austin High. The infamous cafeteria food fight was just one of those times.

Ed was a good man and a good friend to many. All of us are really going to miss him.
