So very sorry to hear of Chuck's passing.  We were in the same class at Nobel Grammer School and graduated both 8th grade and high school together.  Although many years have passed, I still remember him very well; he was a good friend.  Many blessings and prayers to his wife, children and all of his family.  May you find comfort in always remembering the good times and the love.        Sincerely,  Barbara L. Rhys  (Brown)

Like Barb, I fondly remember Chuck from Nobel although I didn't see him much in high school. We had a great group in our January class and Chuck was always a friend. I send my sympathy to his family at this sad time. I know he will be missed.

I KNEW CHUCK FROM AUSTIN BUT HAD NOT SEEN HIM IN YEARS UNTIL WE RAN INTO EACH OTHER ONE NIGHT WHERE HE WAS THE DRUMMER WITH BRUCE OSCAR'S BAND IN A RESTURAUNT WE HAD DINNER AT.  CHUCK FOUGHT HARD BUT UNFORTUNATELY LOST.  HE WAS A GREAT FRIEND AND GREAT DRUMMER AND PLAYED AT MANY OF THE CONCERTS I HELD IN OUR BACK YARD AS WELL AS PLAYING GIGS THROUGHOUT THE AREA.  HE WAS WELL LIKED AND WILL BE MISSED.  OUR PRAYERS ARE WITH PAT AND THE FAMILY.  MAY HE REST IN PEACE NOW.

Chuck and I were good friends through elmentary school at Nobel and high school. After our early 20's we lost contact with each other for a long time. Thanks to this website, about 6 or 7 years ago we realized that we only lived a couple of miles from each other. We were able to reconnect a few times and share our histories with each other and have a few laughs. I will always be thankful for that. Chuck was a good guy. I will miss him.
